Reading A. Yu. Savin, "From the depths of the subconscious. Poems, thoughts, stories".
And there these thoughts:
"- Don't give up what you started. It will still come back, but it will be much harder to fulfill it."
"You mustn't give in to doubts. If you have taken the first step, then go further. Otherwise, you'll be stuck in place all your life."
"Don't take anyone with you on a difficult journey. Cope with difficulties on your own. But share the joy with everyone very generously to avoid envy and ridicule."
And so, I have finished the work on my paper. Submitted for publication. Probably Reviewers will demand changes... Here it is: arXiv:2401.14217
The explicit form of the unitary representation of the Poincaré group for vector-valued wave functions (massive and massless), with applications to photon's localization and position operators

The book reveals one of the most important unresolved issues of natural science — the question of the posthumous existence of man. An easily reproducible experimental method for solving this problem developed by the author is described and its algorithm is described. Information is provided on the phenomena of mediumship, on the use of which the methodology is based, as well as on the underlying phenomena of psychism. The classification of these phenomena is proposed. The information from previous and own studies of posthumous life is summarized, the conclusions that follow from the results obtained are given, and their significance is assessed. In accordance with the information about the structure of space obtained during the study of the psychic plane of the universe, some basic provisions of modern science are being rethought, and the paradoxes unexplained by it (photometric, gravimetric, nonsense of quantum mechanics ...) and natural phenomena (causes of inertia and gravity, equality of inertial and gravitational masses, and a number of others) are being explained. The topics of future scientific, possibly dissertation research are outlined.

Chronogeometry-Geometrodynamics: please come back!
"Enemies are often of more value than friends, inasmuch as they discover our faults and magnify them, hide or ignore our virtues, and by so doing show us clearly the need of improvement. Friends, on the contrary, magnify our virtues and ignore our faults."
Though we need both friends and enemies.
... the mind of Heaven is deducible from what is the Will of mankind !
... For there are three well-known modes of repelling the attack of new thoughts : firstly, by ignoring them, secondly by denying them, and lastly by asserting that they are not new, but were known long before.
And the end:
... Truth will not change her nature to accommodate "the trade"; Serious philosophy has now really outgrown Universities, where Science stands under State-guardianship. It may however some day perhaps come to be counted among the occult sciences; while the spurious kind, that ancilla theologice in Universities, that inferior counterfeit of Scholasticism, for which the highest criterion of philosophical truth lies in the country catechism, will make our Lecture-halls doubly re-echo. "You, that way : we, this way".
Nowadays it applies to Wikipedia as well.

"...When it was all done, I sent the manuscript to my editor, Tim Whiting, who told me to do it all again, but this time to make it interesting. It then went to Steve Guise, who told me to do it one more time, but this time without the errors."
- when I read that. I feel all bettert not being alone in my misery!
19-02-24 19:24 Have found previously unnoticed errors in my paper. Decided to rewrite it completely getting rid of the cotangent bundle and staying all the time with the tangent bundle. That means major rewriting. Have no idea how long it will take. Perhaps a month. Psi have to wait. All is lessons!

In the Dec 16th, 2023 post titled 'Let there be light', it's written:
ReplyDelete"There is nothing more important than LIGHT!"
This morning, in this post appeared:
"Explain Psi!
Nothing is more important!"
Before jumping to conclusion that LIGHT is the explanation of Psi or even that LIGHT is the Psi, would it be possible to have a definition of the Psi, i.e. what is this Psi that we want so ardently to explain?
From Webster Dictionary:
Deletepsi phenomena
plural noun
: the aggregate of parapsychological functions of the mind including extrasensory perception, precognition, and psychokinesis
Also this:
DeleteFrom L.P. Koch "Against the Psychologization of Philosophy"
"Let’s stop fantasizing about the supposed psychological motivations of thinkers, but read them and ponder what they had to say—even when it goes against the zeitgeist and our existing beliefs. Especially then, in fact."
So it's in fact a larger group of phenomena of possibly various and different mechanisms behind them. Britannica even categorizes the phenomena into two broader categories or types: https://www.britannica.com/topic/parapsychological-phenomenon.
DeleteIn relation to that, Mouravieff in the Introduction to his Gnosis II, talking about the realm 'above' the one in which human Personality ordinary resides, but to which the Personality also belongs, said:
"This realm contains several psychic planes, going from coarsest (in SI) to the finest (in PSI).
...
However certain persons, known as 'sensitives', have the innate or acquired faculty ... so that, ... , they are also able to connect with this level ... ."
(Gnosis II, p. xxxvii, English Ed., 1992)
Going with the above, maybe a way to tackle the issue might be to list/describe all possible mechanisms explaining individual smaller subsets (grouped be similarity criterion for example) of these phenomena first, and then check their overlap within the whole set of Psi. While evaluating the potential explaining mechanisms, it would be useful to have some experimental data/research to test them against the theoretical models/predictions.
On the other hand, since we're dealing with the Psi as defined above, maybe ordinary materialistic scientific phenomenological approach would be too conservative, and an unorthodox manner is asked for to reach the desired aim.
In any case, you have my full interest and I'm all ears for potential suggestions how to go about it and where to start researching.
The Russian Author physicist btw) of "Contours of the Universe", in his Introduction puts it as follows:
Delete"Since P0s exist, they require space for their placement. The fact that this is a special mental space, and not the space of our material world, is evidenced by many features of the mental plane, which will be the subject of a subsequent presentation. The main of these features is the multidimensionality of mental space in the Euclidean sense.
Its multidimensionality is manifested in the ability of some sensitives6 to penetrate into closed spaces and act on them (reading in closed books, writing in closed volumes, etc.): the incoherence of a being of higher dimension by the limitations of a space of lesser dimensionality is one of the criteria of multidimensionality [51, 157, 826]. An example is our ability to penetrate into the circle "through the third dimension", which is impossible for a two-dimensional entity. A sign of the "separateness" of mental space is also a property of the environment filling it, which is not inherent in the media of the material plane, which can be called "plasticity" — the ability to capture the formative influence of volitional influence. But, along with the signs of separateness, there is evidence of a commonality of the material and mental planes. Since psychic phenomena are an integral part of earthly life, the conclusion about the contiguity of these planes in the fourth dimension is inevitable. To make this clearer, consider the model per unit of reduced dimensionality. The four-dimensional world of P0 will appear in it as a three-dimensional half-space, and the real world will coincide with the two-dimensional boundary of this half-space. Since this two-dimensionality belongs equally to itself and to the space it limits, it unites their properties. Individual researchers have previously come to the conclusion that the universe is multidimensional {140-5}7.""
Here P0's stand for the "departed ones", post-mortal states of consciousness. I am now reading the fourth part of the book, when he discusses possible ways of correcting and expanding physics which, in his opinion, went the wrong way, ignoring the non-material part. I agree with that and I like the fact that he stresses the need for other dimensions. Light, whatever it is, is somehow helping to mediate between the material boundary and the depths of nonmaterial world. At leas that how I see it.
Thanks for your interest.
Thank you for the translation and sharing your thoughts and views about certain aspects in the book. I tend to agree that physics as presented to the public lacks some serious consideration of the Psi phenomena and possibility of actual existence for more dimensions than just usually considered 3+1 spatial+temporal ones. Your perception that light is a mediator between realms is also shared by me.
DeleteThere are some concepts the author presented I don't quite understand, thus in the need to read and research a bit before being in position to make a decent assessment of what he said. It seems though that he based some reasoning and deductions on underlying assumptions that don't necessarily need to be true in the broadest general sense, like that "dead dudes" belong to 4d world, which would enable them access and interaction with both, material and nonmaterial realms (if I understood that correctly). In my experience and knowledge base acquired, discarnate entities can't really affect the material realm in any significant manner, except through living, usually receptive human being, nor can they access more knowledge or tap into 'untouched' regions of the Information field, that they didn't already have and gain before leaving their physical bodies. As Cayce said, and Laura likes to say, "A dead Presbyterian is just that: a dead Presbyterian!" (Amazing Grace, Ch 36 "Hailing the Universe", p. 458).
If you literally become massless at death, just the world line/reference frame change would be a big change. Then you can get into phase space/complex spacetime structures which might even allow time travel/channeling/psi for us massive beings. Then there's that degenerate metric with frequency handling time-like. Kaluza-Klein-like extra dimensions might give you enough basis vectors to allow photons, charges, etc. You also need these structures in the hidden variables/central algebra as well as for the bosons/fermions outside the central algebra. Lots of different ideas discussed here are kind of all needed I think.

DeleteI am still trying to figure it out what picture the author of the book has in mind. In the physics part I am finding a lot of statements that at first look seem to contradict each other, but, perhaps, it only seems to me so. I will continue.
As for what the dead can or can't do - he seems to be of the same opinion as Laura, with one single exception (which I have discuted with Laura). One woman, who showed not trace of being religious when alive, became very religious in her afterlife. So, through the medium, the author inquired about this change. She responded that she always believed in her heart. Here is the translation from Russian:
"From the very beginning, one of the regular participants in our experiments was visited by his beloved and loving wife. A detailed knowledge of her lifetime properties makes postmortem observations particularly revealing, and their duration allows you to follow the patterns of changes that occur with a person after the transition. The results of these observations are presented in the fourth part, here we will limit ourselves to a brief description of the reported C1.
This is a woman who died prematurely, capable of a fervent and sincere feeling and persistent affection, with a soul completely devoted to goodness. During her lifetime, she did not show religiosity and did not attend church, but after the transition, the religious coloring of her speeches became noticeable. When asked why this was the case, she replied:
"But I always believed in my heart."
However, we noticed that the theology of her statements significantly depends on the religiosity of the medium. Her conversations on religious topics, which we present below, are received through a believing medium."

DeleteI like very much one idea from the book: that Ether has an infinitesimal extension in the fourth direction. Normally, in topology, the boundary would be of zero extension in the perpendicular direction. So some kind of non-standard analysis is required when infinitesimally small does not mean zero. But I ma not sure how far this kind of math has been developed so far. Collecting data now.
